So busy!!!!!

First, I need to say happy birthday to my sister K!!! She is an awesome swimmer and genius student!!! So proud of everything she is doing in her SR. Year of high school!!! Can't wait to see her at thanksgiving!!! 

Ok, I have not had any time to write in the blog because I have been writing papers non stop for school!!! Flik is doing better, but still on full-time bed rest. He thinks he's more helpful than he really is! Lol

Anytime we aren't at work, we are laying on the living room floor. Mommy does school work while daddy plays games :)

Last week, my favorite twin girls turned 1!!! They had a mermaid birthday at the park that turned out so cute even if the fall cold came one day too early!!! These were the cute outfits I found! 

Our awesome friend C came over to babysit Flik so J and I could both be at the party together! We missed him in the family picture, but so glad we got everyone together for a group shot! 

We cannot thank C enough for watching Flik, it was so nice to get out of the house for a few hours!!!

At end end of the party, T and his cousin decided to brave the cold water! 

It was a great party! I didn't get any good pictures with just the girls, because they were in high demand, but I get to see them everyday, so I didn't want to hog them. I can't believe how much I love these kiddos and I'm so glad we are family!!!

Other than that, the last few weeks only have pictures from the matress really...

During a lunch break, I got to visit N!!! So glad to catch up with her! We both just have so much going on right now, so it was nice to meet up even if I didn't  have long! 

So glad to catch up the blog! I'm at work, but the teacher is playing a captioned video, so I had a little time to work on it! 

The teacher also bought like 15 pizzas for his class and they are sitting right next to me!!!!! Pizza smells so freakin good and I haven't had any since last February, so it is literally torturing me right now!!!! Food allergies suck!!!!! 

Anyway, that's it for me, now I'm getting back to work and studying!!! 

It's Wednesday Again!

First of all, Please keep J's grandmother, gaga, in your prayers!!! She is in the hospital and we are hoping she can come home very soon! 

Its been one week since we brought Flik home from the vet and he's finally starting to improve slightly. It has been a long week of waking up several times a night (every hour for the first 3 nights!) and lots of inturupted school work while keeping him calm on the mattress on our living room floor during the day.We alternate sitting with him so he always has direct supervision. I haven't even seen J because we altrinate work schedules and when we are rarely both home it's the only time I can shower or do dishes (I can't even tell you what a disaster our house is right now!). 

We left the cone on 2 nights and during the second night I couldn't take it anymore. He whined the entire time and as soon as it came off he did great. We just have to watch him like a hawk to make sure he doesn't mess with the staples. 

LA and TJH came over to bring Flik some home made get well cards! So sweet! 

Literally both on top of me while I'm trying to do school! 

Mid week it was lookin a little red and swollen, but it's a little better now.

Lilo has been trying to be sweet we just have to be careful she doesn't step on him.

He has only been left alone for about 20 minutes in between Joey and I switching shifts but he really hates the cone! 

I haven't been able to do much more than a few crunches all week so tonight I brought my bike in on the trainer and rode while watching him. It felt great to be moving a little! 

He is out of one of his pain meds tonight so it is getting worse again quickly. I think this is going to be another sleepless night! The vet said if he shakes too bad they will extend the meds, and as much as I don't want him to be hurting, I do think more meds would help him stay a little more subdued. 

Sorry this is all about Flik, but that has been our week! I've missed talking about  

Lots of birthdays and anniversaries, so I'll try to do a catch up post soon! 

Wednesday again?

Can't believe it's that time again! Today I have absolutely nothing to complain about! So this week I'm saying "so what" it's "so what Wednesday"!!! I'm just so relieved my big boy got through his knee surgery safely!!! We are home and cuddling! It's going to be a long 3 months, but he is so good, I know he will cooperate with us! 

This morning before dropping him off. I thought I did pretty well keeping it together all day!!!
