It's Wednesday...

Well, another week down! I'm avoiding a serious crap-ton of school right now, so I vacuumed the floors, worked out, ate dinner, and soon I will get back to it! We had a great weekend filled with work and school, but squeezed in a quick spin class with a new friend who was in my certifying class! She did great, but I don't think J likes it as much as I do (too bad he still have to take some of my classes in the future)! HA! We also had a quick dinner with our friends LA & E and their 3 sweet babies. We had Gluten Free (Betty Crocker has the best!) cupcakes to celebrate my birthday and doggie banana and carrot cupcakes for Flik and Lilo's birthdays! No pictures because my phone is still broken and J never loads his on the computer so it is always full! That night we ran to celebrate one of J's coworker's engagement party. M&J hosted an awesome party for J&C and it was great to see everyone! The rest of the time was school for me and grading for J. 

Here is what I am saying "so what" to this week! 
So what if...

I still have a really crappy phone, as of a few minutes ago, I can send and receive texts!!!

The whole sleeping on the floor thing is getting soooo old! Flik had his 6 week check up and Dr. says he is walking better than his last check, but the next 6 weeks will get really hard to keep him still!!! We have already noticed him wanting to play more in the last week and no matter how much he wants to, he can't! (ps. I have decided to buy a ranch style house next, or at very least have at least one bedroom on the first floor so we could live in a room instead of the living room in an emergency!).

I have extra work this weekend because I need to do my CPR and First Aid course, but I'm one step closer to teaching spin! I have contacted many gyms in the area and should be able to start subbing soon! 

We woke up to tornado sirens yesterday, but thankfully are all safe here and windows are open and fall weather is here again! 60s for the high today! 

J has had a really long work week and won't be home tonight until after 11pm! But my awesome friend LA came over to sit with Flik so I could shower after my workout instead of waiting for J! So awesome to have a neighbor you love! 

Ok, I have like 3 discussions to write, so I have to get going! Glad to reflect on another busy week though! xoxo

Last Saturday Flik turned 3 and today, Lilo is 2!!!

We were so busy last weekend, we had to postpone my birthday as well as Flik's. We are going to try to celebrate everyones' birthday this weekend  with our favorite friends/neighbors. 

I cannot believe my babies are growing up! Flik was an angel of a puppy, but Lilo...was more like a cute little monster! Everyone told us she would get better at two, and while she has gotten easier, if you saw the cardboard distroyed in our bedroom, you would understand she still has not gotten the memo! She really is adorable and well behaved in most areas, just not when we leave the house without her! Cardboard is better than couches and baseboards so I'll take it! :)

It's that time again! 

I've been working on school most of the day and I found it is really boring without a phone!!!

My "so what" comment is...

So what if I washed my iPhone with the sheets??? I found it when transferring the sheets to the dryer, cleaner than ever, but not working! 

Looks like I'll be getting the new iPhone sooner than we thought! 

Well, it has been a long and exhausting birthday week, but we are getting through it all! And, I'm spin teacher certified!!! Can't wait to start teaching! 
Flik is getting better, but he was really hyper today and it is so hard to keep him still! 

Got to go cook diner and get in a nice workout! Until next week...

This incredible moment happened 5 years ago today! My amazing high school sweetheart and I were a semester away from graduating college and busier than I think we have ever been in our lives, but J still found a way to give me the perfect proposal I have always dreamed of! My favorite band, Between the Trees, had a show two days before my birthday, so the timing was perfect! I think J would have been happier asking somewhere more private (without so much attention), but he knew I wanted it big and in the spotlight; so...  spotlight he gave me! I wish I knew how to play the song in the background, but here is the video of the song "changed by you" and I hope you all listen because the words are just so special! 

The big day started with someone at work pretty much giving it away, but in all fairness, we were already starting to plan the wedding since we knew we wanted to have the wedding after graduation, but before we moved to GA, so I kinda knew to be looking for it! ;)

After work, I got home and my brother tried to get me in a dress for the concert...for anyone who knows me, I don't do dresses unless forced, so we agreed jeans and a nice shirt would work! Ha!

Then, my brother and adopted brother tried to throw me off the trail. They were planning to go to the concert too, but just before leaving B said he had too much homework and the other B wanted to hangout with "the Angel" who would later become his wife. I was really sad that they wouldn't be there for my special moment, but I understood how busy they were... and I thought maybe something didn't workout with the planning... They came anyway, but snuck in so I wouldn't know!!! :)

Turns out, the original plan of bringing me up on stage didn't work, but I liked this way better.
My friends recruited some help so when the song started...this group of moshers and our friends cleared the awesome circle around us on the floor!!! 

It was so great to have my brother and some of my best guys there to celebrate with us!!! Thank you guys for making it all happen and for making sure I had a few pictures!!!

The main singer came out at the end to celebrate with us!!! His brother wrote the song to propose to his girlfriend several years ago and she came up to me and said she was so glad we could be as blessed by this song as she was! So COOL! 

This was how I spent the next several days!!! HAHA! 



I cannot believe it has been FIVE years!!! We have been through so much since then and I don't even want to think about the world without J by my side!!! I love you so much hun and I love the family and life we have built together!!!

Wednesday!!!

It's that time again! Here is what I'm saying 'so what' to this week! 

So what if....

-It has been 1 month since Flik's surgery, and I still have not slept in my bed!!! It's ok, I love Flik more than anything so whatever is best for him! 

-since we have been staying chill with Flik, Lilo is going crazy!!!! Trainer has been called in because she's back to chewing!!! Got one of my Jessica Simpson heals yesterday and mommy was NOT happy!!! I can deal with lots of stuff, but touch mom's shoes and you're in trouble!!! 

- J and I are so over gradschool! Why do people do this to themselves!!!???!!!

-I am turning freakin 27!!! Feeling really old! 

-it's a crazy week of birthdays! Flik, Lilo and I all have to celebrate this week!!! We are so so busy and I still have to make a cake for the pups! 

-spin cert happening this weekend too, so looks like school will fill in the nights and maybe if I'm lucky a little time to sleep! Ha! 

-it has been crazy, but I did get some fall decor out to make me feel more it the spirit!!! It made me really happy! It's going to be in the 40s Saturday night, so looks like we will have to roast marshmallows for my birthday!!!!

Friends here have an awesome and very involved Halloween party every year and they dropped off our owl! Looks like we will be visiting Hogwarts this year! Oh and box is from my momma for my birthday, but J is making me wait!!! 

This is Road Atlanta! I pass it on the way to work Mondays and Wednesdays and the big race is Saturday! Wish I had time to go!
