Special things are happening!

Normally today would be my "So What" post, but I am not saying so what to anything this week! Today, I just wanted to take a minute to congratulate some amazing people on their accomplishments!

First, my little sister N gave birth so a beautiful baby girl!!! L was 6 lbs 10oz and very healthy! N and M, you did great!

You've already experienced the first sleepless night, so good luck on the many more to come!!!

So excited to be an aunt to this little lady!!!

First diaper change!!!!!
Love her so much already!!! Love you too N!

Now, little L is not the only awesome thing happening this week!

My cousin B is graduating from high school this morning!!! She is an amazing athlete and brilliant student and I am so excited for her! She is beautiful inside and out and I could not be more proud! From cheer, to a million AP classes, and everything in between, you have handled it all! Great job girl!
I was able to take a trip to Florida for your sister's graduation a few years ago, but wasn't able to be there today. 😔 I will be thinking about you all day B! Congrats on making the most of your high school career and good luck with all your future endeavors! Go UCF!!!

Saturday is my little sister's graduation from high school and at the same time, she is graduating with her AA degree!!! K, You are so smart! Swimming, singing, and dancing didn't stop you from graduating in the very top of your class! I am so proud of everything you do and cannot wait to see what you accomplish in the honors college at USF!!! Congrats girl! I wish I could be there with you, but know that I love you and support you from here in GA!

These girls are going to both my alma maters and I am loving it!

Happy Mother's Day!

I am so blessed to have the love of so many great moms!!! I am sad that I cannot spend today with each of them, but will be thinking of them all day!

My mom is awesome! She is so caring and will give even when she has needs of her own. We talk daily and through pictures, she has helped me decorate my entire house! We may not see eye-to-eye sometimes, but I know she is always there for me and loves me no matter what. Thanks mom for supporting me!!! On our recent trip home, she drove 1.5 hours in the middle of the night to meet me so that I could have a place to sleep for a few hours before driving me back so we could spend the weekend watching J play frisbee. I hated to ask her to be my taxi service, but it wasn't even a question for her! Love you more than I could ever say and I cannot wait to see you in a couple weeks!!!

My momma is my adopted mom and I cherish our relationship! She has taken me under her wing and is that calm comforting voice I need in my crazy life! She is one of the strongest people I know and never complains even when she should! I hope we get to see each other again very soon!  Thanks for always being my momma! Love you more than you'll ever know! Xoxo

My mother-in-law has been a part of my life for a very long time and I am so blessed to have grown up as a part of her family. She birthed an amazing husband for me, so for that I will always be greatful! She has an amazing heart for her boys and I and I am so thankful I get to call her mom! Love you always!

The last mom to enter my life is a special lady too (I know everyone is jealous of my four moms!)! K works so hard and never even thinks about herself! A step-mom is not always the easiest role, but she fit in quite seamlessly! She has helped J and I without hesitation and we love her dearly. We will always have a special relationship because we both tortured ourselves on a 9.5 hour bike ride a cross the state of FL together and let me tell you, it takes a special/crazy person to hurt themselves like tht! I'm just glad we could do that together. Love you and hope you come visit/come see a race with us soon!
Happy Mother's Day to all my amazing moms and all my friends who are great moms to their babies!

Family might not always look like we expected, but love in any form is something to be cherished. This day can be hard for those who have lost moms or children, who have been trying to have a child for a long time, or have decided motherhood is not the best option for them. I think we can still celebrate love today even if we fit into those categories. I don't think you have to birth a baby to be a mom! To all those animal mommies or moms who have adopted...Happy Mom's Day to you too!

J and my puppies got me a few really awesome gifts today and I am so thankful for my little family!!!

Happy anniversary to some awesome friends!

Four years ago, I was honored to be a part of two very special people's big day!
N and I were 2 of the 3 carpool girls that drove from UCF to USF several days a week so we could live with our loved ones and attend the school that offered an interpreting major. As much as I hated adding in the long 3 hour drive (each way) to our already crazy schedules, I loved every moment of talking to these sweet friends! I miss knowing every detail of every event in each others' lives!

Because of our long car rides, I got to be a part of N and R's love story! I remember N telling me how excited she was when they started talking and then how amazing their love was as they grew as a couple. I hate living so far away especially since I am missing their beautiful baby girl grow up, but I love these people and so thankful to have them in my life! Congratulations N and R!

Bachelorette weekend!

Long night with lots of walking!
N and the best hair dresser ever!
Getting ready to walk down the aisle!
L and her husband B (the third member of our carpool team!)
Such a great party!
Saying bye to the bride and groom!
The beautiful family now!
I wish you the best this year and always! Love you guys!!!

So What Wednesday!

It's Wednesday again! So what if Wednesday is almost over, I am still making it before midnight. I've had a really busy week so far, but it's been great!

So what if I don't have a full-time job, I am keeping myself super busy!

So what if this semester was stressful, I found out today I officially kept my 4.0 grad school GPA. Only have to repeate that one more semester and I will be able to graduate with that 4.0!!! In high school I had over that weighted, but I have to say it feels great this time!

So what if my heals/achilles are killing me, my running is looking better!!! I think I just need new shoes, cause my acics have WAY too many miles on them!!! It just kills me to drop over a hundred dollars on running shoes.

So what if I am starting to count the days until the end of this month, it's Memorial Day weekend in NC with some of our bestest friends from FL, our 5 year anniversary, my little sister N is having a baby girl, and my mom and brother might be coming up for a visit! So much fun!

So what if I have always struggled with what to get J for our anniversaries, this year I had a great idea and I am so excited!!! I am so thankful my cousins B and D are going to help make my idea happen! I'm sorry but boys are so hard to get anything special for!

So what if I have been out of the weight room for a few weeks, I can still squat 165x7. I was rusty for sure, but excited to be back in there with all the boys!

So what if it's the first night of summer for J and we are celebrating by icing our injuries and watching tv...that's what fit couples do after hard lifting days!

Here are some fun pictures from this week!

I got to hang out with this pretty lady one-on-one (which is rare when you're a twin) and even though she was hurting from an ear infection, we had a blast!
Lilo got into something outside and was covered in these hives :( She improved after a couple doses of Benadryl, but I hated to see her so itchy.
Wanted to show you a few pictures of our spring flowers! :)
Last weekend we hung out with the H family for some slip n slide fun! We even extended the runway so it would work all the way down the hill! Adults even jumped in for some fun!
EK looks a little unsure in this one, but she loved it!

I taught the bootcamp class I normally attend as a student last Friday. Monday the teacher said the feedback he had received was awesome! Everyone was sore and said I was the best sub they ever had! J was awesome and came along so I could torture him! He gave me some great positive and negative feedback for my future classes!
The neighbors are moving and I am super sad about that, but exited for them to expand their house to fit their family! Whenever they have a showing, our niece pups come to visit! :)

Still working on other catch up posts, but at least this week is current! Happy summer everyone!
