Mother's Day

I am completely blessed to have such amazing moms in my life! Some people can't even say they have one great mom, but I have four!!!! I only wish that I could be there to celebrate with them tomorrow!
My mom is so caring! She would do anything and everything in her power to help her kids. We talk constantly; it feels strange if we go more than a couple days without a call. I don't know how I didn't get any of her amazing artistic talent, but she can make anything look beautiful! We have had a few bumps, but I'm so glad that I can call her my mom and friend. She made sure my brother and I never questioned that we were loved and always would be!
She supports my through all my ventures!
Sag team for 9 hour bike ride!
Watching me interpret 4 days in heat!
Wedding planner and mom!
Thank you for everything you do! You're the best!
Love you mama!

My adopted Momma is the sweetest women I have ever met! She would absolutely do anything for her family without once thinking of herself! She is so strong in a quite way and I can only hope to inherit a part of her spirit. She may have only come into my life in high school, but she is family and nothing can ever change that!
I'm so glad that my mom and momma are close too!
Love you momma!

My mother-in-law has been one of my moms half of my life! I am so lucky to have been accepted into her family from the early days of high school when J and I had just started dating (we knew that it would be a forever thing and K supported us from the get-go). She is a strong woman and loves her family more than anything! She is always there for us no questions asked! I am so thankful to have someone like her in my corner!

We love you mom!!!

Last but not at all least... K. I used to call her my stepmom even though she never technically was. She is no longer my stepmom, but I never really liked that word anyway! I need to make up a term that would in compass all the crazy aspects of our relationship. Whatever the term, I love her and am so thankful to have the love and support of such an awesome lady! Her inner happiness is contagious and I am so glad that no matter what, we are family!

I am so thankful for my mom, momma, mom-in-love, and 'mofriend' (I'm just trying things) :)

Each person has greatly impacted my life in ways they will never even know! I love you all very much! Happy Mothers Day and as much as I hate not being there, I cannot wait till you all come up here to visit soon!!!!!!!! I promise we will reschedule this celebration, you just have to come see me to get it!!! ;)

Shout out to my best friends and awesome moms!

N, mom-to-be and L, soon to be mom of 2!!!!
New mom C!!!
LA, beast mommy of 3 under 2!!!

As for me, I'm just glad to be Mommy to these two! They are my world!

Start of a crazy week!

Monday started with a bang! What little rest we had Saturday morning was used up by Monday at noon!
I have been dealing with lots of paperwork now that I am going to UNF for my masters. Because GA doesn't have a masters program for interpreting, I can apply for an in-state tuition waiver. Well, that sounds easy enough, but the application requires a judge's signature from our county's Supreme Court. They are Not the easiest people to track down that's for sure!!! I started trying on the 28th. I just showed up at the courthouse and started asking how one even goes about getting that signature. We have 3 judges and one was gone to another courthouse for the week, one didn't even have a secretary there, and the other secretary was busy planning an office birthday lunch, but said her judge was in the middle of a murder trial so wouldn't be able to help for a while! Frustrated (and getting sick), I left! Thursday I started calling judges again. One was still at another courthouse, one still didn't answer, and the birthday planner said her judge left Thursday before noon an was off Friday. All that to say, Monday after work, I rushed to the courthouse because the judge (I could not get to answer before) would be in his office between 2-4. I got there at 2:45 and he had "run to the post office" so I waited until 3:55 (having to feed the meter a couple of times) and finally he walked in, looked at my license and signed the paper! Why can't anyone else do that??? And what do these people do all day???

Anyway, you would think that would be the end of my crazy day, but at 6 I had Flik's first Rally obedience class!!!! I am so excited so I will have to do a whole post on that later, but I think he is going to be really great at this and I can't wait to spend special time with him practicing!
He is normally the smartest dog in the room, but he is going to have a challenge in this class! His classmates are a service dog (in training) who has had obedience his whole life and the teacher's dog that was bred for competitions!
Flik kept wanting to lay down I between tasks so I thought it was strange, but when I got home I realized he had what looked to be a spider bite. He pushed through class like a champ, but I feel bad for not noticing sooner( it's been 3 days and still looks bad so we are calling the vet today!).
We were home by 730 so you would think it was time to call it a night, but my dad called and needed help finishing up a remodeling job he picked up so I brought J and my friend N and the pups so we could hurry and I wouldn't get stuck there all night! We worked an hour or so and hurried home.
I started my insanity workout at 10pm!

My dad arrived home and said because he had to go to FL for a doctors appt, he was moving back. So while I was doing insanity, he packed. I got done at 11pm and helped dad get the last of his stuff out and said goodbye. Personally, I thought it was a really bad choice on his part, but what can ya do?
We said our goodbyes and J and I finally hit the sack around 1am. After a coughing fit around 3am (cause I am still fighting the end of that cold), I got about another hour of sleep and hated the alarm clock that went off at 6am Tuesday morning. All in a days work...

Insanity partner

My real partner LA has been sidelined with a cold and busy schedule, but last night I had someone eager to fill her shoes! :)
 Thanks Li!
In the meantime... The hubby and Flik were great cheerleaders! Lol
I love these everyday, special moments at our house!!!

So what Wednesday!

Here's what I'm saying "so what" to this week...

So what if:
~ I am still dealing with this crappy cold! At least I slept through the entire night last night for the first time without having to get up and take cough meds!
~It's teacher appreciation week and our school did absolutely nothing, with my food allergies I probably wouldn't be able to eat anything anyway, but it still sucks for the teachers here! They do so much on their own and no one cares!
~My husband went to the pool without me last night, I got in a double workout :)
~ My Monday this week was killer busy (more posts later), so far, we have nothing planned for Saturday so maybe I can relax a little...ha! Doubt it, but I can dream!
~I feel like my 6 hours of sleep last night was heavenly!!! It's more than I've had in weeks!

Our weekend!

Puppies had a great weekend even if ours wasn't so great! We were still feeling sick so that made it hard to get anything done!
Friday we met J at the fields and took the dogs for a swim and hike. Lilo loved running though the mid even though swimming is still scary! 😊
J stayed to play pick-up with some crapy frisbee players so I wasn't thrilled, but I headed back, ordered Chinese for dinner, bathed the dogs, and got my workout in before J got home.
Saturday, we had a slow morning and the house to ourselves which was really nice! We cleaned the house and I got in an hour of tanning during my lunch break. The pups love hanging out with me and I'm trying to get a little color on me before I hit the cruise ship in June!
Ha! My shoulders are tan from our bike rides, but the rest of my body is still ghostly!!!

After a nice hour outside, I went to help dad paint for friends dad has been doing some work for.J stayed to work on his dissertation, but pups thought they should come along and help! Lol
What would we do without a cord holder?
I had to work Sunday morning (who needs a day off??? Not this girl apparently!) J took the dogs to lab with him and then for a run on the fields and its hot outside so the tired out quickly! Dega was on so we watched the race and cleaned the house some before going over to our awesome neighbors/friends for dinner. TJH is always excite to have company!
Always love a hundred TJH selfies on my phone!

We talked to our Best Man B about summer plans and then J did insanity with me since LA is still feeling sick. First day of insanity max kicked my ass! It hurts so good today! :)

Well... We finished the weekend stressing about money, but enjoying a great episode of game of thrones!!!!

Easter 2014 Video

Okay guys, the video is finally put together! GoPro makes video editing pretty easy, but it was my first time ever doing any video edits, so it was definitely a hard learning curve! I used a template that GoPro offers, which is really cool because the music and clips are already done for you, but I didn't realized you can't make it any shorter than the template you pick. I was a little frustrated with it, but I think if I start with a blank template and put it all together myself it will be more work, but less fickle. Only problem is I don't have a lot of the cool music these templates have available.
I'm really glad I'll get to practice more with our bike ride and other short things before we do our cruise!!!! Can't wait to film all the cool places with this awesomely small underwater camera!!!

5 minutes to vent

Sorry, I know yesterday was my "so what" complaints day, but last night sucked!!! If I have to find a silver lining, the best part was talking to our friends EandC even though FaceTime didn't work we could still hear baby E and I loved that!
We had tacos for dinner which is a once a week meal in our house 'cause I am not a great cook and that's an easy one! 😊
With my allergies, I've had to change from flour to corn tortillas and use veggie cheese, but it's still a decent meal. Well, last night it made me feel instantly crappy, but after awhile, it eased away, so I wasn't too worried.
I'm still sick from my cold and I'm in the "can't breathe through your nose but hurts to breathe through your mouth cause your throat hurts so bad" phase.

Around 1:30am I woke up sick from my food allergies and couldn't fall back asleep! An hour later I got up to take medicine and the dogs and I made so much commotion we woke J. He stayed up with me for a while, but I felt bad keeping him up so he offered to move to couch, but I decided I would since I couldn't sleep anyway.  Going downstairs helped me a little because I could sit up more on the couch. I slept a couple of hours total last night so my 6:15 alarm was not a welcomed sound (even JT's song isn't good at that time!).
Work is going to suck, but I'm here and dealing with it. Wish me luck!
