No time to blog :(

It has been really cold here this winter, but not much snow to be seen! I am very ready for spring tempatures to arrive so outdoor workouts become more enjoyable! Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the blog! I work, write papers, and workout...repeat. J has been insanely busy too, and it's only going to get worse because J has frisbee tournaments out of town for the next 3 weekends straight!!! The house is a wreck, but we are just trying to hang on! The end of the semester is almost in sight! 

I brought school over to hand with some friends and had a really fun night of catan! It was great until J thought it would be a good idea to drink a liter of wine! Lol

This was the sweetest moment ever! I left my babies with our Athens family and LA sent me these pictures after I left. 

T saw that Flik was upset so he went to sit with him and told him "don't worry Flik, Riah be back!" 

This just makes my heart so happy!!! 

Most of my pictures this month are from work, or of the pups while I'm doing school, or me working out. Sorry guys, but that's my life these days!

NASCAR is back!!! Jr got 3rd both weeks and the Hendrick team is off to a strong start, so I am one happy girl!

Done with my spin class and legs feel great! Ladies, we have all had really bad cramps, they suck, but take some Advil and do your best to push through it! I felt so much better after!

So excited to shower my little sis and her baby!!! 

Last weekend I had so much school work to do, but we packed up and took 30 minutes to escape the house as a family! Precious moments...

Flik definitely likes his bedtime and let's us know when we are staying up to late.

This looks adorable, but we need a bigger bed!!! Lilo used to sleep in her own bed and it was a little better, but now she's cold and I end up off the bed most nights!

This weekend I ran out of my MAC foundation and after doing research, I found that while they say they no long test on animals, they DO! Any company that sells in the Asian market does test on poor and helpless animals! This is a company that Ulta carries and is completely cruelty free! I'm nervous to switch, but saving animals from horrible lives full of suffering!!!

Sorry I am slacking with the blog! Only reason this was done today is because one of my classes is playing a movie with closed captions so I get an easy day! 

Last February...Has it really been almost a year!!!???

If you know me, you know I am a huge NASCAR fan and I am not ashamed of it! We grew up in the racing world and I should have stuck with my go-karting career because I could have been set as a female driver! :) I digress, but I love racing of all kinds! I only have time to follow one seriously, so I picked the Sprint Cup with an emphasis on the Team Hendrick! 

One of my best friends got a job last year for NASCAR and I'm not going to lie, I was so happy for him, but also extremely excited for me! :) He works out of our home track of Daytona (the best of all tracks!) and was such an amazing friend to invite us down for the season opening Daytona 500!!!

I am just now blogging about this because while packing, I could hardly contain my excitement and forgot our big camera!!! Fortunately, I was able to use my brothers little camera; it was at least better than my phone. Long story short, I could not get him to remember to get the pictures off the camera, so I had to wait until we went back to FL for Thanksgiving to copy them to the computer. 

My friend D was not only able to get us tickets, but COLD PASSES so we were able to walk around the garage and everything before the race! 

We got to sign the start/finish line! So awesome!

So we were walking by and of the the 88 pit crew guys came out and gave me a sticker from those fuel canisters! So cool! You'll see the up close picture in a few!

Crappy ending to this exciting day... It poured down rain after the first 20 laps and was red flagged for hours!!! We waited for a long while, but then had to go back to get the dogs from the parents and then head back to GA! It didn't start again until much later that night. :( JR won and I wasn't there to see it!!! I need to have a redo this year! The garage was a blast though and I hope to go to a few this year especially since Gordon announced that this is his last year! We had a great time despite the terrible weather! 

I have a couple videos to add, but I have to figure out how to get them. I think it might be on our external hard drive, but our computer crashed and my phone got washed all about the same time! :/ I have a great video of us during the downpour on Instagram if I can figure out how to get that off. Anyway, this was a long post and I have to say sorry to those who don't love NASCAR as much as I do... You should!
